2007 CACOLE Conference

cacole.jpgFrom 10 to 12 October 2007 this year’s conference of the Canadian Association for Civilian Oversight for Law Enforcement (CACOLE) will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The conference entitled "Civilian Oversight: Challenges, Experiences and Solutions" offers a wide and interesting range of subjects, trying to give a balanced overview of the work in this sphere of activity. Keynote speakers from all over the world as well as experts from Canada and other countries will give insight into their work and recent developments. Further it gives the opportunity to exchange information and get to dialogue about civilian oversight. EPAC will also be represented and contribute to this annual conference.

The Canadian Association for Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement (CACOLE) is a national non-profit organization of individuals and agencies involved in the oversight of police officers in Canada. CACOLE is dedicated to advancing the concept, principles and application of civilian oversight of law enforcement throughout Canada and abroad.
