Governance

The European Partners against Corruption/European contact-point network against corruption (EPAC/EACN) organizational structure consists of the General Assembly and its functions, which are a President, two Vice Presidents, two Deputy Vice Presidents and the Secretariat. The General Assembly convenes at least once a year. Its mandate includes determining the general policies of the network, establishing working groups on specific issues, electing functions, and dealing with membership and partnership matters.

All functions are elected by the General Assembly for two years, with the possibility of renewal. The President’s core duty is to promote the values and objectives of the network. He or she also carries out management, identity building, administrative and external representation tasks, and decides on the allocation of finances. The two Vice Presidents, one for the anti-corruption and the other for the police oversight strand, support the President in his or her duties. They are assisted by their respective Deputy Vice Presidents.

The Secretariat's competences include providing administrative support to all functions and working groups, informing members and partners on developments and activities within the network, and servicing communication channels.
